I just received my business certificate with the city I operate in. Where else is it a necessity to register? Do you all trademark your name with the federal gov? What about state? Any other areas that I'm missing?
You can file a DBA or assumed name with the county normally but really your name isn't going to have much protection until you formally incorporate it into an LLC or other entity.
