Looking to get into RE Investing in the Richmond VA area. Have money saved but don't really know where to start. Looking into buy and hold/rental properties. Looking for a mentor that can steer me in the right direction.

@Juan Feliciano hey man! Start attending meetups in the area (look in meetup.com) RING, Chesterfield REIA, Todd Millers Wholesaling Meetup are good places to start. Start learning how to identify if a property is a good deal or not by knowing numbers (ARV, rehab cost, max allowable offer, etc). Build up a team around you with a realtor, contractor, attorney, reliable lender. Don't stop networking.
