Hi everyone I am just getting started in owning some of my own rental properties and was looking at using Azibo to do my rent collections each month. I was just curious if anyone uses Azibo and if they know if it automatically pulls the money from the tenant bank account when it becomes due or if the tenant has to send the money across?

I would never recommend or do business with a company with such stupid and effed up marketing practices.
These jerks tracked down my CLIENT scheduling tool and placed a meeting on my calendar so they could pitch their crap to me.
I don't care if it's the best product out there, I'd never ever ever do business with, partner with or otherwise have anything to do with a company with such a slimy marketing tactic.

Hi Brady, I have a 4 unit apartment in OH that I am testing Azibo on now. It seems to be going okay, I definitely have the impression that they are still working a lot of kinks out in their system though. The tenants are allowed to pay with a card or link a bank account directly. The tenants can set up automatic payments. There is a 2.99% transaction fee if the tenant uses a card and if they link a bank account there are no fees.
My biggest issue is the bugs in their system that do not allow tenants to sign up with their phone numbers. Half of the time the tenants will get an error message saying their phone number is not a US-based number. I ended up using my cell phone number for everyone's account and their own emails. It will send you a text then I sign up for the tenants and assign them passwords to access the portal. It is a pain in the neck, but I am trying to work with their engineer team to fix this weird glitch in the system.

@Brady Ascheman I had to double take when I saw you're in Benson. My dad grew up there, and I have family in Morris as well. I would love to connect and learn about how you got started out there and what your goals are. with the UofM in Morris, rentals in that area have always intrigued me.
At any rate, I haven't used that service, but I use apartments .com for my full-service rent collection and tenant management here in Saint Paul. You set it up and the tenant has to submit it, OR they can set it to auto-pull. It emails them a reminder to pay and automatically charges the late fee you set if one should be required. I find it extremely easy to use, and it was pretty handy during screening and onboarding a tenant. I'm an open book on all that just reach out!
