Starting my real estate journey in the Philippines

Hi everyone, I am hoping to get into real estate and was wondering if there are people investing in the Philippines. Either from here or abroad, as long as you are familiar with the market. 

Would be great to pick the brain of anyone as I am still figuring out how to start locally, any advice is welcome.

    you might want to consider identifying your objectives and the amount of time/work you're willing to put in. good luck and have fun kabayan.

    Fellow starting investor here from the Philippines as well. Nice to see someone here from our country.

     I have a general idea of where I want to be in the long run but for the short term, the main objective would be to buy my first rental property.  I presume this would entail figuring out what good deals look like locally and figuring out what works and doesn't in the Philippines. As for the work, I have a full-time job but I am more than willing to put in the work after hours, on weekends, and can probably squeeze in sometime on the days I work from home. Any insight or resources you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

     We have a small single family home which is currently unoccupied and I'm planning to convert it into rental property in the future.

     My assistant is from the Philippines and he is starting to invest there.
