RE IN McAllen Texas

Hello,

Any advice for beginners investing in out of state McAllen Texas? Preferably condominiums? I'm from the Bay Area and there is no way I can start in California. Also, I found a condo 2bedroom 2 bath with an annual HOA. Any references for a real estate agent in Texas? Any inputs or suggestions?

Greatly Appreciated

Welcome! Yeah, I'm sure the market here in McAllen, Texas is probably a bit more feasible when starting out. I've used two different real estate agents in the McAllen, Texas area, and am currently working with Monica Acevedo with The International Real Estate Company here out of McAllen. I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for in a real estate agent, but she's very responsive, gets offers written up and sent out fast, and will remind me to think about certain factors regarding the area/property when I get off-track. But she's super nice and easy to work with. Other than that, if you have any questions about the market, etc. feel free to shoot me a message; I'm always happy to connect with other investors, especially those that invest in the same area. Best of luck!

Why McAllen? If you want cash flow go to a market that has some potential, Killeen Texas.
