New Investors or Those Looking to Invest Please Respond

As a new investor or wannabie investor what information, skills, resources, mentoring and etc. are you looking for to move forward?  Real estate investment touches on a lot of different elements, so what is missing for you?  Is it information or strategies related to different property types or how to use debt or seller financing for property purchases?  What do you find most challenging about getting started?  What have you learned so far and what do you know you need to develop greater skills and experience to move forward.

Why did you choose to become a real estate investor?  What personally motivated you to participate in this activity?  What skills or experience do you already have as a property investor and what ones are missing?  Are you investing as a family, partner, or is this a business/corporation?  Are you investing for the lifestyle that it can bring, or are you wanting to scale up to a major player?

Do you already have specific written goals for your investment activities?  What are those goals and what strategies are you using to accomplish them?  Are there timeframes attached to your goals?  Do your real estate goals dovetail with your life goals and if so what are they and in what ways do you think that real estate will help you to accomplish them?

After more than 50 years of actively investing in many different kinds of real estate one of my primary goals is to assist other, or potential investors to get started or move forward. So, your feedback is important, necessary and appreciated.

Thank you for reading and responding.
