How Can I Add Value to A REI Mentor?

I'm a REI newbie and I would like to find a mentor to work with and learn from.

Currently, I work full-time and travel with work but have completed the Mortgage Loan Originator coursework for my state (New York) and am considering getting my RE Salesperson License as well as Title Closing Certification.

Are there other things I can do/learn to make me valuable to a potential mentor in my area?
