New to investing looking at Gainesville and Orlando

Hey BP, I'm new to investing and having gone to both UCF and UF I have seen the value in buy and hold rental properties. I'm very interested in purchasing my first rental in Gainesville this spring/summer and would love to get in contact with investors in the area that could offer any advice about starting out. It seems like no matter how much I read and analyze, pulling the trigger on the first deal is always the hardest step. Any advice is welcomed! -Ethan
