I'm hoping to get started on my licensing and I have been leaning towards doing it online but I wanted to know what you guys have to say on the topic. Utah.

Google for stringham school, finish the 120 hours course and pass the state exam, and that's just the starting point.  But it's enough information for now

Logan,  I used Stringham as well.  I did it all online.  You can do some courses in person too with them.   But beware-- if you try to cram 120 online hours in less than 4 weeks your mind will become a blob of real estate goo, so spread it out for sure!

I am sure there are other great schools out there.  Since rarely will someone take classes from more than one provider, it will be very hard to get valid data to compare schools.  But I thought Stringham did a great job.

The licensing exam was a trip.  Never before in my life did I walk out of test and have NO IDEA how I did.  Some of the questions were so easy that you think they are trick questions.  Others were poorly written.  Others were just hard.  But I made it.

Go for it and you will do great.

Also, now is also a good time for you to start interviewing a few brokers. If you have talked with at least a couple before you take the course, you will have a better frame of reference as you go through some of the material regarding broker/agent relationships.
