Hello,
I am new to Investing and trying to decide where would be a better place for me to start my Investing career. My two choices are between Florida and Dallas, TX. Would appreciate any advice.

Are you planning to move if you choose Florida? If not, start in your backyard in Dallas, TX all day long. A skilled local operator can consistently make good money in REI in any market in the USA, the strategies used may vary from one market to the next, though. For example, some markets are high appreciation, while others are for cash flow. Some lend themselves well to flips, while others are geared more towards buy-and-hold. Personally, I say live where you want to live, figure out the REI strategies that work best there, and invest there locally.
