I am new to biggerPockets and new to the buy and hold side of real estate. I have completed a couple flips with some business partners in the past. I am looking to connect with other real estate investors from the Saginaw and Bay City Michigan area. Is there any groups of BP members in the Saginaw or Bay City area that meetup?

I help head up the Ann Arbor Real Estate Investors Club. I know pretty much all of the REIA's. I have not heard of any in the Saginaw or Bay City area.

I'm from Bay City. There are a handful of people on here from Bay City, Midland, and Saginaw. They talked about doing a meetup in Saginaw last year, but I don't think it ever happened.
there's a group that meets in midland on the 2nd Tuesday of every month called MAREIA. You can find it on Facebook. Besides that I haven't heard of a BP club that meets frequently in MBS. There are definitely several of us investing in the area that could meet together and go from there. Maybe we could plan something for the Summer or spring or even earlier.
I invest in Bay City. I'm originally from there, but living in CO now. I would love to meet with other investors in the area. I want to invest more in BC, but it is also a bit challenging. I do come to town every other month or so.
I would be interested if someone can make this thing happen. I'd love to meet and see what other people are doing / trying to do in the area. Maybe one of you can tell me why I'm not a multi-zillionaire yet. LOL.
I'm thinking of moving to Midland from Florida. I would like to get into rentals. Either regular rental or to students. What is the market like there for rentals. Has anyone run into alot of evictions or bad experiences renting to college students in that area
Hey everyone, does anyone have a recommendation of a good realtor in Saginaw? My girlfriend is doing her clinicals there for med school, so I'd like to buy a house there for the next 18 months, then rent it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hey everyone, I'm a note buyer and I just took possession of a nice house in Bay City. I need a project manager on the ground there to help me get it cleaned out, get some repair estimates and get it sold to an owner-financed borrower. Don't really want to use a realtor as our sales process is outside their norm. Anyone know someone in that area who could be our boots-on-the-ground? Or does anyone want to buy an owner-financed house to fix up and rent out? Or to live in yourself?
