Being on the North side of the border (assuming most of you are from USA), I know that it's a good option to look for someone to partner invest with especially if I'm looking far from my local area. But I'm unsure of how ot connect with someone in an area/city I want to invest with especially if they are far thousands of kilometers/miles away.
Can any of you share your partnership stories especially partnering with someone who is nowhere near you and investing in their local area? Perhaps how you met, how you got along, and any concerns partnering with someone else?

I made a great friend across the country through BP, we've done a few deals together and been a great overall partnership.
He introduced himself on BP, we made friends, we found opportunity to do deals. I've made lots of friends over the internet for years through various hobbies, this was no different. Partnerships are just friendships that revolve around profit.
You only have 7 posts at the time of my post, I suggest you post a few times a day. Make a real effort to network and build relationships, it won't happen organically, it'll only happen if you do it deliberately. Connect with people on BP who are local to the area you want to invest in. Try to make friends with them, force things to happen. If you're new no one is going to knock down your door to do a deal with them, it's up to you do knock down someone else's door.
