As I read on forums and different blogs on the internet, I see people who are non-wholesalers deterring people from the wholesaling business saying it is either illegal or frowned upon ? Can someone tell me why this is ? Thank you !
Give this video a watch from the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Real Estate. They essentially do a question and answer session about wholesaling in Ohio. People might have their opinions, but you really want to pay attention to what the regulators have to say because they are going to be the ones coming after you - not other people giving their opinions.
As I have recently watched the video and continued reading, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is ILLEGAL to wholesale in Ohio due to never having intent to actually own the property , but rather to sell the contract to some other potential buyer ? ?
