Just wondering, was there a specific book/lecture, real estate or not, that gave you a sense of direction in the field of real estate you became passionate and pursued?

Since you have a Pro tagged to your photo, I want to ask and only if you’re able and willing to answer, in all your readings - rich Dad, millionaire investor and so forth, what do you find to be an important characteristic or trait a real estate investor must have?
As what many others have stated. Rich Dad, Poor Dad is a great recommendation. It was my very first book and has opened up many doors for me. Your biggest obstacle to real estate and anything in general, is your mindset.
Master your mindset, master anything.
I've personally read many books after that, but what really jump started my real estate venture. Is @Brandon Turner book, The Book on Rental Property Investing.

@Jian Lin Yes. The book of massive action by @Jian Lin. Books are awesome, I love them and think highly of them. Just remember this amidst the fog of knowledge. “Action trumps knowledge every day of the week.” Get out there and do, and make mistakes.

What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow by Frank Gallinelli was a superb introduction to commercial deal analysis when I read it years ago, absolutely loved it.

Frank has an equally awesome video course on his website that is all about underwriting commercial deals, I would start there as a next step from the book, it's not too expensive.
