Wanted to ask, what are the best neigborhoods to invest in Houston Tx? (Ideally a good suburbs area, that targets the average to upper middle class demographic) and close to the downtown houston
And what areas in houston to avoid? (Crime and poor neighborhoods, etc.)
The big thing in Houston is to avoid the flood zones, the insurance can be crazy other than that it is really like any other city the more time you spend analyzing the more familiar you'll become with the area. Most properties can be great investments as long as you get them for the right price. Some areas are just more realistic to give you that price.
Hate to say it but you can overlay a demographic map and see which properties are going to be hard to manage. We'll buy everywhere but some areas are cheaper than others just due to the demographics and how much harder those areas are to manage.
