How do you transition from residential to commercial?

Question

Most of my students have believe two lies.

1. You need a lot of cash to invest in commercial real estate

2. Leasing commercial properties is hard and should be left to the big wigs.

The reality is that both of those statements are just not true. What are your fears that are holding you back?

I’d go warehousing & shipping right now, stay away from office. Might have some office deals coming up tho. Get the best listing broker you can, I’d recommend a broker team over an individual or a larger group like CBRE, Colliers, NKF, Transwestern.
