Hey everyone,
I'm looking to being my investing journey in Windsor I currently live in Toronto, and I'm still in the early stages of studying the Windsor market.
Does anyone have any suggestions of good neighbourhoods in the Windsor area that have on-going new developments/areas that are being revamped?
I would love to get a bungalow or 1 and 1/2 storey home in area that I can still manage to profit from cash flow monthly about while benefit from some great appreciation over the next 5 or so years.
'Full steam ahead' for new construction in midst of pandemic
ACCORDING TO THE CITY OF WINDSOR BUILDING DEPARTMENT REPORT ON NEW CONSTRUCTION UP TO JUNE 30, THE TOTAL VALUE OF NEW PROJECTS FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 2020 WAS $211.5 MILLION, 21 PER CENT MORE THAN THE $175.2 MILLION FOR THE FIRST HALF OF 2019
As an investor, I like to "follow the money". When developers embark on multi-million dollar projects, you can generally bank on the fact that they've done their research. They're investing in a city for a reason, they've projected future demand, population growth, affordability, etc.When I see a 21% increase in projects in Windsor for 2020, that tells me that the fundamentals here are strong and gives me confidence to invest.
