I’ve been doing some research about a lot of different things and directions I could go with my life. My mother is in real estate and does very well, but she is also almost 3 times my age. Can someone try to start to early? Is it worth something to start? Any advice, id be more than grateful.
1. Focus on being a listing agent; buyer agency work is tedious & prevents you from scaling a business. As a buyer agent you have to be with buyers in multiple places in order to sell, as a listing agent you can sell many properties simultaneously.
2. Prospect, prospect, prospect. You should be dialing expired listings, cancelled listings and for sale by owner listings every day Check out RedX, they offer a great service.
3. Listing presentation: check out Kevin Ward on YouTube, he has an outstanding coaching service and provides a lot of content on line.
4. Treat it like a job... Too many Agents, fail to create routine in their day do not make that mistake. Being an agent is AMAZING - take advantage by working hard, being organized and being excellent!!!
