BP folks,
When buying new property and trying to estimate property taxes, I know we can look at the county tax assessor website to know the property taxes paid, are there other resources/tools that you use to find the exact property tax percentage and how much it has increased year over year?

Most assessors will tell you the assessment history every year. So you can log that and look backward. However bear in mind that past increases are not a predictor of future assessment increases. In my area many property owners are seeing 30% year over year increases this year, which is certainly not the historical rate of increase.
