How to connect with investors as a realtor?

 Networking events are always good and sometimes you can call self managing owners from a rental listing on zillow or similar site. 

I've also found that investors really appreciate when you too are an investor. Sort of a walk the walk kind of thing.

I'm in Columbus Oh and we have some solid meetups here, and I'm sure a city like Houston would have similar things going on!
