My computer is on and connected 24/7. My email and browser are open at all times. There are random times, quite a few lately, where no "updated discussions" show in my email, but if I go to the site anyway, there might be 6 - 12 replies/mentions from multiple posters from hours earlier found on the notification page.

Other times, I'm ON the site, and having just cleared the notifications on the menu option, but either it will not clear the indicator "dot" even after hitting "Mark as Read", and returning to AND refreshing a forum main page. It still shows the dot, but if I then go to the notification page, there are no "new" notifications.

Still other times, I will receive the email about notifications several hours after they have already been cleared on the site.
