It seems we no longer are able to easily catch up on threads where we responded, except when there is a direct reply to our own comment on that thread. Others can post later responses, but there is no notification, nor an easy way to see just those threads I have posted in that have been updated by others. Many forums either automatically, or via a small button, take you to the first new post after the last one you read at last visit.

Scrolling the "Newest" topics returns all of the threads I have no interest in, but were updated, forcing me to scroll multiple pages to find a particular one that I commented on previous.

Great point Richard — I noticed the same after the last update.

    What has worked for me:

Hit Follow at the top right of any thread you commented on — that sends you back to notifications when someone adds to it, even if not a direct reply to you.

Check My Activity > Participated in your profile — that filters only threads you posted in, so you don't have to scroll "Newest" with all the random updates.

Bookmark method — I open threads I care about in a separate tab until I'm caught up, then close.

I agree though — the old "first unread post" button or auto-jump to new was much cleaner. Would be great if BP brought back a "Updated Participated" filter in one click.

Thanks for flagging this — was thinking it was just me.

There’s a “My Discussions” screen at the top left corner. This is filtered to conversations you started or replied to.

Every topic has a “Jump to Latest” button on it: it’s the timestamp for the last reply. Clicking that will take you to the most recent reply.

Or are you using the mobile app?

I am always on the desktop version.

My discussions only returns topics that I have started.

"Last reply" takes you exactly there, to the absolute most recent reply, skipping any other "new" posts since last visiting the thread.

The options mentioned by the other poster are impractical, clunky workarounds.
