We have redesigned our Profile Page!

Our new look is SO MUCH cleaner, SO MUCH easier to edit and shares SO MUCH MORE information about you, and what you're doing on the site.

Now you can edit each section of your profile directly from the profile screen - just click the pencil icon.

Fellow members viewing your profile can see more of what you're writing in the forums.

For Pro members, your header image is customizable - please do not use inappropriate images or images you do not have the right to use.

Your current Privacy Settings will stay in place with this change.

Keep in mind that your profile is THE PLACE for you to tell everyone about yourself. Share your experiences, your goals and most importantly, what you're looking for.

There are more exciting updates to the Profiles coming up in the new year!

PLEASE >>>>> Put a photo on your profile! For a few reasons. 1. It gives your posts a much more professional look, and you'll be taken more seriously. 2. When there's more than one person with the same name, initial, etc. and you try to @mention them in a post, several names can drop down all without profile photos, and you have no idea which goes to the person you want to mention.

IF for some reason you have an aversion to having your personal photo online, please use a photo (that you have permission to use) that tells something about you (a local monument, a sport, etc.) Something that helps add some character to your profile.

@Mindy Jensen. Thanks for the heads up Mindy. At first I thought there was something wrong with my computer because I couldn't go back to the old look. The new version looks a lot cleaner.

Oh scratch that, it looks like i can just click on the "interests" I had previously. Is there any way to add new interests?

I noticed as soon as I logged in, after buying The Book on Flipping Houses, and was blown away by how sleek the profile page looks. Much more personable. Great job, BP Team!

@Mindy Jensen Actually yes haha
It looked like it only let me do Commercial, Wholesaling, Flipping, Rentals, and Other Strategies (which I'm all interested in...just wasn't sure if there was a way to add more "Interests"?)

But on the old version where my agent bio was displayed is now replaced with my introduction (About myself) instead. Anyway for me to reconfigure where my bio was once? And can someone explain the red asterisks in the Agent Profile?

I have similar questions. Seems like the agent profile portion isn't getting as much weight anymore.

@Mindy Jensen can you share with us the dimensions of the header? On our profiles it only has the width not the height.

@Mindy Jensen I don’t see where it shows when the person was last active. This was an important part for me because it let me know if the person I was trying to connect with was active on the site or if they have been gone for years and have just left their profile up. Is there a way to include that on the profiles again?

Thanks @Mindy Jensen I will keep my eye out for it. I also sent in a ticket request for an idea for the website. In the people I’m following tab, have a button or something that says “Recent comments by those I am following.” When I click on the button, it will pull up some of the most recent posts by those I am following. That way I can easily follow someone’s comments and learn from what that person I’m following is writing.

@Dave Van Horn , the interests section comes from what you choose during onboarding. But that's a recent thing, so your options are more limited since you signed up a while ago. We're working on adding more choices.
@Nathan Gesner , The video intros are still there. To upload, click on the edit icon in the top section.
@Dawn Anastasi , bold and italics is not an option.
@Mark Pedroza , @John Knisely , the agent designation will be back soon.
