I own a mobile home park in Tennessee that has recently had two owners abandon their homes. I talked to our local RE lawyer and couldn't get a clear answer as to what I needed to do. Have any of you gone through the process of obtaining a title for a mobile home that has been abandoned in your park? Tennessee specifically would be great, but any info to get me started would help. Thanks all!
@Dave Condict You may want to check with the local government entity in charge of titling mobile homes in your area. They may have a process already in place regarding abandoned mobile homes on land you own. You may also want to check with the landlord/tenant court to see what options and the process is to remove the homes from your land. Good luck!

@Dave Condict Yes, they'll need it to look it up. Some states do things differently. It just depends on the area. They should be able to tell you exactly what you need in order to transfer title. Also, your local manufactured housing association is another good resource. Hope that helps!
