Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a price differential (%) between a twin home vs. a true single family home. We are looking to sell our home and of course, will consult a realtor, but in doing early research, I'm uncertain if I should deduct a particular percentage from the sold prices of similar sized homes. There are no listed sold twins that are as large as ours to make a relevant comparison.
I was hoping someone would have answered your question because I had a basic question - what is a twin? I"m looking at one and having trouble understanding if this is a duplex or just a multi-level SFH?
If you're referring to a row house or half of a duplex, I would check with zillow or similar in the area if there are any similar neighborhoods. If it is common in your area most are available on the recent sold maps. The sky view map might be helpful.
