@David Monroe living cheap, reading books, attending meetups, avoiding distractions and spending the majority of my time working so I don’t waste money

    More multi-tasking!

Like right now I'm trolling BP and watching the NFL! Super productive!

    @David Monroe

I work at a hospital right now as a Nurse Assistant. Will graduate and become a registered nurse in May.

I am increasing my w2 working a lot of over time in order to get a good FHA loan in May. Just clocked in 100 hours in 2 weeks. "Don't say you can't afford it, ask yourself how can I afford it" Well, you can start by working all available overtime shifts!

Also reading BP books and listening to the podcast.

@Steven May I applaud you on the effort you're putting in to meet the goals of graduating and getting a house.

You can be more proficient with your time, as you have allot on your plate, where you can plan your time at the hospital, studying, reading and listening to podcasts, and sourcing deals.

I've said allot in this thread that if you set annual, quarterly and weekly goals, and then take important action steps each day, you will be successful faster and your productivity will sky rocket.

@David Monroe I set my yearly goals at the beginning of the year then I set monthly goals so that I can reach them and I also set weekly/daily goals every morning to move closer to the end goal! I keep all of this in a goal journal and I look over them every morning during my quiet time to ensure I'm on track!

@Wyatt Reed Congratulations! You're one of the few that have mentioned writing your goals and having a plan to achieve them.

The only thing I think you could do to improve, not knowing your whole story, is to swap monthly for quarterly goals. It's been proven that a month is too short and anything longer than 90 days and you start to get complacent.

So, every 90 days we reset, adjust our goals as necessary and move toward our definite chief aim, as Napoleon Hill would put it!

@Dave G. It's a proven fact that multitasking is impossible. Our brains can only focus on one thing at a time. That's why it's illegal to use a cell phone in a vehicle in some states.

To prove my point, have ever been driving down the road, been focused on the conversation because you want to be a good listener, and pass up your turn. I do it all the time!

@David Monroe I completely agree I have a meeting with my 2 accountability partners sat quarterly where we meet up and discuss where we are and where we need to be!

@David Monroe I have a list on my whiteboard called the, “Power Five”. It’s five things that I can do everyday to get me a step closer to my goal. Once one of the things on my power five become routine and I don’t have to be reminded to do them, i remove that thing and add something new. I got this idea from Andy Friscella and his MFCEO podcast

@Aaron Hill That's a great way of creating habits! Are you setting goals beyond that, I have to believe you have more than 1 goal for 2019?

@David Monroe definitely more than one goal!

@Aaron Hill If you look at the second post in this thread I lay out how I set my goals and beyond that, I use a quarterly planner, that I created for myself, to keep on task. Beyond that, having an accountability partner will help reach the goals yo set.
