Company is considering bidding on an RFP for a government-owned, vacant city block. Our first time putting together a bid like this - Is it a worthwhile venture? Are there any pitfalls? Who has succeeded in a similar venture and what steps did you take?...

    @Andrew Hinton you will likely be facing a lot of competition if this is a good property. There is lots of paperwork and red tape. It does help if you are SWAM certified and a disadvantage or minority owned business. You will get preferred status if all other conditions are equal.
