IndyMac Bank Short Sales?

Question

I am about to process a Short Sale with IndyMac Bank, it light of what happened to them , with the Feds taking over does anyone know how this will effect the SS process. Will they be more willing to do the short sale process or will it go through red tape like everything the government does.

I did one with one previously were they charged the homeowner $300.00 to pay for the Appraisel and some Short Sale Fees.

We are getting ready to place an offer on an indymac short sale property.  Any good advice to move the process along any faster?  Open to any suggestions and advice!

I wanted to update you all on IndyMac and there Fees. I had to submitted the SS packet and I asked them about the $300 fee. The women i spoke to said they are no longer taking that fee. I hope this true, i think they were doing this to save cost on all the SS they were recieving. 
Based on the convesation i had with them they told me that i should have an approval in  Days.

I know that in the past, I have got the fee waived, but they are sticking to it big time this time around.  Pretty annoying actually.  In the past they have said it was for the appraisal, so this time around I stated they needed to provide us with a copy of the appraisal if the client/realtor are paying for it.

They pointed out that the exact verbiage on the form is for "processing", which "could" include an appraisal etc.

Hey do you have the direct Number to the LM dept? All the time I call i get a CS rep who doesnt know what they are talking about.

I am working to get a short sale approved through Indymac bank also.  I think they should be more willing to approve in order to stablize things.  I will post what happens...
