Where in the U.S.A. are the Majority of Duplex, Triplex and Fourplex

I am hoping someone can either answer, or point me to resources so that I may educate myself on the geographical concentration of 2,3, and 4 unit multifamily properties. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

@Randy Daniels, @Jerry Agbon is on point - Boston has a very high concentration of 2-4 unit multi's. Different than NYC/NJ as it's likely a higher proportion of the overall market. Not sure exactly what you are looking for here but it's certainly a market to check out (that said it's an expensive market!)

And to be clear - a lot of the Dorchester properties have been converted to condos (we've financed a bunch of conversions in the past few years).

Northeast states like Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, are states that have high concentration of triplex, duplex and quads. In MA, Boston, Dorchester, and Brockton are among the towns with very high concentration these.
