Housing Assistance Program and Pros/Cons of Low-income Renters

Hi,

I have been recently looking at some multi-family units and some of them come with HAP. I wonder whether you consider this as a pro or a con? Those units seem to be easily rented out and usually come with waitlist. However, I wonder whether there are any drawbacks, I.e., tenants are not treating the unit as good as those who are paying themselves?

Would like to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks.
