I've done it 3 times with my family of  5.  We've made lots of money, its a great strategy

    @Louis Mitchell IV it is definitely possible to house hack here in Los Angeles.  In fact that is the best way to live in Los Angeles since it is so expensive.

    While it is not easy to cash flow here there is definitely the possibility of paying less then those who rent.  There are multiple benefits to house hacking which include; debt pay down, reduction of monthly mortgage and appreciation.
