    @Aaron Villarreal Hello Aaron, You are at a good starting point with BiggerPockets. If you are local to the area look for the REIA meetings and start attending those. Jump on FB and connect with people in the area, if you are out of state.

    I'm in SA.  Always up to meet new people.  

    Also, check out Facebook Events.  There is always something going on.  Then find the group sponsoring it and follow them to keep up with what they do and when.

    An additional source is Meetup.com, look up real estate events and all the REIA assoc. in the areas you are interested in should show up.
