I've just purchased my first SFH and I am rehabbing it to rent out and eventually sell in the late future. However, I am curious to know which colored paint for the interior and exterior of a how can bring the value low or get it higher. I would appreciate any knowledge on the subject and if it really makes an impact of the value of the property.

    It can change the entire view of the home and make it much more sellable, but you first have to evaluate what kind of market you are in and what kind of home it is, as well as who is your ideal buyer. What's your ARV? Is the home in a development where there are restrictions? What color is the exterior now? What condition is it in? Some think of exterior paint as a lost cost, but I don't, but if your margins are slim you'll want to get a power washer and do what you can. Re: the interior, Benjamin Moore has colors of the year every year. Go to Benjamin Moore and look at the 2020 colors and see which ones may work as accents or for some room, but if it's your first flip you want to be neutral and not risk bad choices.
