Curious to hear from anyone that has converted hotels and/or motels to multifamily? What kind of financing was used? How were the extremely small units made into an apartment unit? How were kitchenettes installed into the plumbing?
Each time our team has reviewed a potential hotel/motel to multifamily deal, the cost to upgrade electrical kills the deal. I would review the electrical with your electrician prior to spending too much time on the project.
