Glamping Site on the Lake in Hudson Valley - Any Advice?

I'm looking at building a 13-acre glamping / camping site about 75 minutes north of Manhattan in the Hudson Valley. There's a fabulous site on the Beaverdam Lake in Salisbury Mills. Any advice from others who have taken the glamping plunge?

    Hello Jon,

    Just something to consider I don't know the details but beaverdam lake gets drained periodically and its just a mudpitt.

    Thanks, Dan. That's good to know. Why does it get drained? The site looks like it came back online and it's stunning.
