Looking for Local Real Estate Meet-ups and Connections

Hi All! 

I will be moving to Birmingham Saturday for a new job and want to get involved in Real Estate meet-ups and meet fellow investors! I previously lived in Denver and loved attending meetings and connecting with local investors, but I have been unable to find anything in the Birmingham area! Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have experience buying my first investment property and am working with a partner to purchase 5-10 units in the area primarily though owner financing so I have a bit of experience but am looking for local connections!

    I don't think there is one. Perhaps you might have to start one up and network with local investors there?

    I'm also moving to Bham and found Meetups. (Jim Pellerin mentioned below) Signed up today...waiting to hear back. Maybe I'll see you at their next meeting.

     I've been to these meetups with @Jason J. Biggs, lots of fun and super supportive network of RE professionals. Even competing agents/wholesalers/lenders are sharing contacts and advice. Excellent community of investors!

    Look for the “Birmingham Alabama Real Estate Investors” group on Facebook. They do a monthly meetup. The next one is coming up next week. Good opportunity to meet all kinds of people in the industry: agents, lenders, contractors, wholesalers, other investors, etc.
