Can I ask my HOA to stop texting me?

Question

Can one limit the communication channels with the hoa to physical correspondence and calls for life /death, real emergencies?

Context: I own a small condo in a 3 condo unit, which I'm currently renting out. 3rd floor owner texts me at least twice a week for small nuisances about the tenants that bother only her (2nd floor owner hasn't complained once).

I've gotten to the point of blocking her phone number and wanted to send her a letter saying she can only communicate through me via physical mail letters. Would that be legal?

So this is a neighbor.... not the HOA running the condo? BIG difference...

If its the HOA, then they have power to make your life hell if you ignore their attempts at contact to resolve an issue

If its a neighbor, you can tell them to FO and leave you alone...block their number.....totally ignore them etc. If you feed the crazy, they keep coming back.

@Andrea Fajardo to be clear, are you asking if there's a way to block a neighbor from texting you about tenants you placed that are causing your neighbor disruption? If you provided your contact info (whether directly or via an owner contact list) you've provided permission for contact and this is not in the realm of robocalls or text messaging spam.
