Anyone in the San Antonio market actively investing???

I have been a member of bigger pockets since October but have yet to connect with other investors in the area through this website. I am looking to meet with others who are ACTIVELY investing now. I deal with a lot of properties every month, and although most of what I find is off market, I do not know enough people to work on what I find. I've been having difficulty working with others who are wanting to invest now. I am usually at the area meet-ups and do have a steady list of seasoned investors that I network with but want to meet new people to the area or new to REI. I find that the more people I keep in contact with the better I can read the pulse of the market. Please share some stories with me of your real estate experience here in San Antonio, and let me know what it is you look for when investing.
