Birmingham, Alabama Market from Nashville

i am looking into investing the the Birmingham, AL Market. looking for wholesalers, real estate agents and contractors in that area... 

I have seen some things online that make me think that i should start there..

My business partner is currently working there from his job so i would have somesone in the city and its only 1.5 hrs away..

Birmingham still has a big pocket of foreclosures right now and they are going fairly quickly.  For networking, you may want to connect with Birmingham Real Estate Investors on meetup.com; it's a large networking group with wholesale investors, agents and contractors. They meet on a consistent basis and often have deals, some of the BREI members are also here on BP.

    What are you seeking to do in the Birmingham area? Buy and hold? Fix n flip or are you a seeking to wholesale in this market?
