First off, thank you for the wealth of information this community has provided me thus far.

I'm making a quick visit to Birmingham from Oakland on Sept 7 to Sept 10.

I currently have the Southwest companion pass which allows me to purchase a second ticket of the same flight for essentially free (+fee). My spouse was supposed to come; however, will not be able to make it any longer.

If there are any interested Bay Area investors looking to check up on your Bham properties and are free this weekend, let me know (send me a PM). I can add you on my flight. 

As a new member, this community has been extremely helpful to me and has opened my eyes more into REI. I look forward to hearing about your experiences in the Birmingham area as well.
