I have 300K to aggressively spend in any area of real estate that could finally get my foot in the business and help seed my retirement. I will be 50 next year. Please give me some ideas on what to do
@Whawang Whawah welcome to BP. The options in REI are endless and people make and lose money in all of them! 300k is not small change-so good for you. I would read some books and watch podcasts and see if you have a leaning towards anything in particular and figure out what you like and don't like dealing with. Once you know more you can formulate some goals better; these also will change over time. For now I would suggest watch out for the hype, and walk don't run. Don't spend your money until you are completely comfortable and spend it slowly. Most risks come from a lack of knowledge and a general lack of preparation.
