Looking to get into real estate investing in the next 6 months. I’m interested in buying mobile homes in 55+ communities in central Florida for a low cost entry into investing. Is this a good option for beginner rental properties? Does anyone have any experience in this area that would be willing to share knowledge?
Many parks do not allow renters, the houses must be owner occupied.
You can sell them and carry the contract which is also very profitable. It also relieves you of all maintenance on the house.
Mobile homes on private property make profitable rentals. They cost a lot less than stick built houses for the same square footage but can bring in close to the same revenue. I own several but made most of my money flipping mobiles in parks. I’ll gladly share my business plan if you’re interested:)

I love mobile homes! But we have never purchased in age restricted parks. Too much risk because of the snow bird supply & demand. We had made good money in all age parks, but our favorite is when we buy the land with the home.
