It's a broad question... what really do you mean? Are you listening to Peter Schiff and trying to setup a similar tax situation? Do you anticipate some future hot market? Do you just want to live in a different place?

    Hey @Nick Gann

I just want to know what investors outside of the island think about PR for business purposes in general.

I know Act 20/22 and Opportunity Zones are attractive but I also know how hard is to find a good team and good investments to pull the trigger. I have been in that position, even been from PR and talking the same language it was hard for me months ago when I was living in Virginia to do it remotely. I recently moved back to the island and I can see daily opportunities for investments in every corner but unfortunately there is not to much info on the internet, so that’s why I’m here asking questions to help investors that are interested in PR.

Oh right on! Glad you clarified. I thought about moving there to relieve some of the tax burden... but hadnt thought about it from a real estate perspective as I know so little about the marketability of real estate there.

     Hi Keyla,

I am from PR and have family there. I'm considering investing there on a STR that I can use when I visit. My current worries are the same you posted one year ago, especially finding a reliable team to manage the property. I have lawyers, RE brokers and friends and family to help out. I have no property manager connections yet. Have things changed for you now? It's extremely hard to find information online, as you know. Also, what have you seen with respect to appreciation?

Any insights on the current market are greatly appreciated!

    Thank you in advance!! :)
