John, I'm looking at the possibilities of hoping to purchase a home and use my VA loan to purchase as well as simultaneously rehab it. This would be in Virginia though. I'm not sure if you're familiar with or can assist with that process but if you can, can you email me please? I guess I'm not allowed to put my email. So I'm not sure how to get a hold of each other. I'm sorry.
I too am searching for a leander that take VA Rehabilitation Loan on a duplex. I was approved by one of the big three loan companies but they don't offer this rehab loan.
I just called USAA, they don't offer it. Neither does Quicken Loans.
I found one. https://www.militaryvaloan.com/blog/what-is-the-va-renovation-loan/
