Loan Limit options

Is there any way to get around loan limits, or is it more or less restricted to just giving a lowball offer for properties outside of the limit?

There are non conventional or non QM loans that allow for higher loan amounts. Jumbo loans and DSCR loans (if it is an investment property) are two examples that have much higher allowed loan amounts.
