Oregon Attorney to Create Land Trusts for Privacy

I hold several rental properties in the Portland area and want to put them into land trusts for privacy and estate planning — the approach taught by Randy Hughes "Mr. Land Trust" (https://mrlandtrust.net) and YouTuber with over 130k subscribers Kris Haskins. The benefits are straightforward: your name comes off the public record, the proper

ty avoids probate, and transfers of beneficial interest happen privately instead of through recorded deeds.

Here's my roadblock: multiple Oregon attorneys have told me land trusts are "illegal" here, pointing to ORS 95.230 — the statute that voids transfers made with intent to hinder, delay, or defraud creditors. But that statute doesn't prohibit any trust structure. It voids a *specific transfer* when a *specific creditor* proves fraudulent intent. I'm solvent, current on everything, and facing no claims — privacy and estate planning are legitimate purposes, the same ones behind every revocable living trust in the state. Oregon simply has no land trust statute (most states don't), so these are common-law title-holding trusts, and most attorneys here have just never drafted one.

I have one attorney willing to try, but it's her first land trust and progress is slow. I'd rather pay someone who already does this work. I'm NOT looking for the national package shops (already got the $18K bundle pitch — no thanks). I want a licensed attorney, ideally Oregon, who drafts land trusts as normal hourly or flat-fee legal work, whether from their own template or working with mine from Randy Hughes.

Has anyone here actually recorded a deed-to-trustee in Multnomah County or elsewhere in Oregon? Who drafted it? Names and contacts appreciated — happy to pay for competence.
