Looking for good funding options in the Chicago land area

Hi BP, I am newbie to the real estate investing world but have been in the construction business for 13 years now. Right now I am looking to build a list of cash buyers and private/hard money lenders. Can anyone recommend any lenders within the Chicago land area? Thanks in advance.

    I like small community banks where you can deal directly with a decision maker.
