I am looking to turn a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house into a short term rental. I would need to furnish it totally beds, tables, Sofa,chairs. Can anyone recommend a place that I could get quality furniture and beds At a reasonable price? I have no desire to run all over town trying to find stuff in secondhand stores or thrift shops. I simply want to buy reasonably priced furniture and be done with it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :-)
I'll keep my post short. Wayfair, Walmart, Amazon. You never have to leave your house to get what you need.
Thanks for the insight Bob. Have you purchased furniture from Walmart? Somehow I didn’t really didn’t consider Walmart as a place of buy furniture. Maybe the answer was there right in front of me and I just didn’t realize it.
Also is it common for people to piecemeal their furnishings? If people by their furniture from multiple places and each room looks like it has furniture from somewhere different would this look odd or is this standard in the short term rental industry?
Yes I've purchased furniture from Walmart in the past for my personal residence. My entire home is piecemeal to be honest. For me, it's not about buying everything from one place, but going for a specific design and finding pieces that fit that design.
It's more about your eye for design than where the furniture is sourced. I'm working with a client who's looking to get into STR's and I have a spreadsheet for furniture design to help him out and it has pieces from all three companies I mentioned.

Home Goods, Costco, Wayfair, and ironically Cost Plus World Market had some of the best deals we found. Don't rule out the used furniture stores as well.

My wife claims that Ikea is cheap. She could be lying so I won't get mad she buys furniture there hahahaha. I will say that she is not the only one that has told me so and they do have a great bariety of things. You can buy absolutely everything you need for your Airbnb there. Forks, matts, plants, pots, bottle openers, art etc etc
