    @Pam McGehee Do you have a realtor that you work with down there? They may have a contact that they can recommend! Or your property manager, do they know someone?

    Thank you Lara! I have tried that route with my realtor in Fort Worth with no luck yet. However, I recently was given a lead by a fellow female investor for a CPA in Decatur, TX that is also a real estate investor. I am meeting with him in October! I have found that there are LOTS of people who invest in a few doors, but few who want to go BIG. That's why I am always on the lookout for kindred spirits who want to go big or go home! lol

    Hey there - not sure if you found someone. But TX doesn't have a state tax so it's especially easy to work with a tax professional from elsewhere as well. I would reach out to some of the tax pros here on BP who specailized in real estate and see if any fit your needs well.

    @Pam McGehee

    LLC's in Texas are required to file a Franchise Tax Return with Texas - Make sure that the professional you choose understands that.

    best of luck.
