Can anyone recommend a great real estate CPA in California? Or better to go with a real estate tax attorney? I have K-1, schedule C, lots of depreciation from real estate syndication K-1s. Thank you.

Hey Kate, I am currently accepting new clients. Those items you listed are pretty straightforward and shouldn't need a tax attorney. A blind estimate would be anywhere from $750 to $2k depending on how involved your Sch C is and how many K-1s you have.
I do work with a few tax attorneys though when needed on more complex sales or acquisitions if something of that nature is in your future.
When selecting an accountant, make sure that they are familiar with California state taxation.
Having a lot of K-1's that are real estate focused likely presents Federal / State differences since California does not recognize bonus depreciation. This is likely captured on the state K-1 provided by the sponsor.
